With reference to bonding and warehousing, we handle the
following operations,
- Bonding of goods in a customs warehouse without payment of customs
duty.
- De-bonding of goods after payments of applicable duty, in piece meal
quantities.
- Bonding of goods for subsequent re-export to third countries.
- Carrying out packing, manufacturing and other permitted operations in
customs notified areas, prior to re-exportation.
- Warehousing of customs cleared cargo in private warehouses.
- Distribution of customs cleared / warehoused cargoes to different
buyers
Warehouses can be made available either on a long term or short term
basis.
In case of short landing or damages / pilferages detected
after landing inside port area, we arrange survey of damages occurred and
assist our customers to file a claim with the marine insurance company,
besides claiming duty remission, wherever applicable.
Similarly, if any damages or pilferages take place after customs clearance,
enroute in transit, from port to final destination, we will arrange for a
survey at the unloading point and seek compensation from the insurance
company for the loss suffered.
All the survey and the claim formalities will be completed simultaneously
so that neither the clearance of cargo at port or consumption of the cargo
after delivery does not suffer any abnormal delay.
